Looking Forward to 2026

A new year always brings a sense of possibility. As we turn the page in our calendar and begin looking forward to 2026, many people begin thinking what they want life to look like in the months ahead.

Maybe you want to set weight loss goals. Maybe you want to start a Bible Reading Plan. Maybe you want to get out of debt.

For Christians, this season is a chance to be intentional… not just about what we do, but about who we are becoming.

Looking forward doesn’t mean forgetting the past. The past year may have included joy, loss, growth, or uncertainty. But a new year invites us to reset our focus. Instead of chasing busyness, success, or comfort, we can choose to shape our lives around the example and teachings of Jesus.

Living a Christ-filled life is not about being perfect or having all the answers. It’s about daily direction. It means choosing love over anger, hope over fear, and purpose over distraction. These choices don’t usually happen in big, dramatic moments. They happen in normal, everyday life. And it shows in how we treat our families, how we speak to coworkers, how we respond when life doesn’t go as planned.

As we step into 2026, it helps to ask a few simple questions. What is shaping my heart right now? What voices am I listening to? What habits are helping me grow, and which ones are holding me back? Small adjustments can lead to meaningful change over time.

A Christ-centered life is also a connected life. We grow stronger when we walk alongside others, encourage one another, and serve together. Faith was never meant to be lived out alone. In the coming year, look for ways to deepen relationships, show kindness in practical ways, and be present where you are planted.

Most of all, living with Christ at the center gives us steady hope. The world around us may feel uncertain, but our foundation does not have to be. When our hearts are anchored in Him, we can face the future with confidence, peace, and purpose.

As 2026 begins, let this be more than just another year. Let it be a season where you live with intention, love deeply, and reflect the light of Christ in simple, real ways… one day at a time.
