Sermon Series: Burning Hearts (part 2) | Sent In Peace
A message from James Holloway, delivered on May 24, 2026.

After the resurrection, the disciples gathered behind locked doors filled with fear, uncertainty, and questions about what would come next. In John 20:19–23, Jesus stepped into that fearful room, spoke peace over His followers, and then sent them into mission.
This message continues the Burning Hearts: From Resurrection to Mission series by exploring how the risen Christ moves His people from fear to peace, from peace to purpose, and from purpose to Spirit-empowered participation in the mission of God. Through this passage, we are reminded that Jesus does not merely comfort His people. He fills them with His peace, empowers them through the Holy Spirit, and calls them to represent Him in the world.
